Welcome to -
Stanion Church of England Primary School

Stanion CE (Aided) Primary School is a voluntary aided Church of England school which seeks to reflect the practice and traditions of the Church of England, in accordance with its trust deed.
We are a school for 4 to 11 years old. The school is very popular and we currently have 106 pupils on roll coming from the villages of Stanion, Little Stanion, Little Oakley and Great Oakley and the town of Corby.

Our Christian ethos underpins everything that takes place in school. We promote the importance of every child knowing they are valued as an individual and developing a mutual esteem of others based upon an acceptance of others.
We aim to:
* Provide a safe, healthy and happy place for learning and fun;
* Help each person gain the skills they need to be confident members of the community;
* Encourage each person in their life’s journey to achieve the best they can.

Our facilities include an ICT suite, a fully fitted kitchen for learning and a library with internet research facilities which the children can use every day. Our Reception and Key Stage 1 children have access to a well-equipped outside area which includes an all-weather surface, sand pit, sensory area, quiet area, a summer house and small vegetable areas for all the school. Each classroom is fitted with an interactive whiteboard which teachers use daily to aid teaching and learning. The school grounds are completely secure and are edged with mature trees and hedges and include a large field area marked out for games and an adventure trail.
Governors play a significant role in the success of the school. They bring important areas of expertise that helps to challenge and support us on our continuing journey. Our Chair of Governors is Mrs Amanda de Choisy. Our school is supported by an excellent and very active PTA committee who help to raise money and organise events throughout the year. We are very lucky to have a talented group of teachers and support staff who are motivated and like to make things happen.
This is a happy place to be able to work and learn. If you would like more information or to have a look around, please feel free to make an appointment with the office.
