Stanion C.E Primary EYFS Vision Statement
At Stanion C.E Primary School, our Early Years Foundation Stage is built upon our whole-school vision: Love, Inspire, Flourish, Embrace.
We believe that every child deserves to feel happy, safe and secure from the very beginning of their learning journey. By creating a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating environment, we ensure that all children feel valued, respected and confident to explore, take risks and develop as independent learners.
We are committed to inspiring a lifelong love of learning through meaningful, engaging experiences that spark curiosity and imagination. Our curriculum is skill-based, enabling children to develop the knowledge, understanding and learning behaviours they need to thrive. While our learning is carefully planned through exciting themes, we remain responsive to children's interests and embrace in-the-moment opportunities, recognising that some of the richest learning happens when children lead the way.
Play is at the heart of our EYFS curriculum. Through purposeful, high-quality play, children develop socially, emotionally, physically and academically. Alongside this, we provide carefully planned adult-led teaching to introduce new knowledge and skills, ensuring every child is supported and challenged to achieve their full potential.
Creativity is woven throughout our curriculum. We celebrate the arts and provide rich opportunities for children to express themselves through art, music, storytelling, drama and imaginative play. Our strong commitment to Religious Education encourages children to develop respect, empathy and an understanding of the diverse world around them, supporting our Christian values and fostering kindness and compassion.
At Stanion C.E Primary School, we embrace every child's uniqueness, celebrating diversity and ensuring that everyone feels included and able to flourish. By working in partnership with families, we lay strong foundations that enable children to become confident, resilient and enthusiastic learners, ready for the next stage of their education and beyond.
