At Stanion C.E (Aided) Primary School we firmly believe that children should be given the opportunity to become independent learners and enjoy all aspects of school life. We encourage the children to take responsibility for their learning and empower them by providing opportunities for 'Learn to Learn' skills across the curriculum. These skills are represented by our five super friends. 

Our curriculum has been carefully designed to enable all the children to strive to work under the banners of our Stanion Super Friends to help them to develop lifelong skills which are transferable across all areas of the curriculum. We have regular assemblies to celebrate our Super Friends. We also have events throughout the year to promote well being - including Children's Mental Health week and Healthy eating week. 

Our Christian ethos underpins everything that takes place in school. Our approach to delivering the best for every member of our school community is based upon five key curriculum drivers. These are known as our Stanion Super Friends. We know that by delivering our broad, balanced and bespoke curriculum, each learner will be valued as an individual and given the opportunity to reach their potential.
