Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
The PTA (Parent Teacher Association) provides a valuable link between parents and teachers, to enrich our school community. The aim of a PTA is to encourage good relations between staff, parents and others associated with the school, to support the school and to advance the education of the pupils in it. The objectives of a PTA are; to organise fund-raising activities, to involve as many people as possible and to make the activities fun!
The core committee, along with other fantastic parent volunteers, plan and run all different events at school, such as: Cake Sales, Discos, Summer/Christmas Fairs, Welcome Meetings for new parents, Film Nights and more!
So far, thanks to the fundraising efforts and support from parents who join in with these activities, they have provided: Books for our library, gardening equipment for our Wildlife Area, class Christmas presents and much more.
We have also raised money for a variety of charities and donated Easter Eggs to Kettering Hospital.
Our Chairs of the PTA are Mrs Laura Allanson and Mrs Amy Smith.
